Community Support
At Rural Moms of Alabama, we know that caring for a baby in a rural community can feel isolating. Many mothers want more than just physical help—they long to feel seen, supported, and spiritually uplifted.

That’s why we offer two simple ways for moms to connect with someone who cares:

Mama Mentors
For moms who want someone to walk alongside them
The Mama Mentors program pairs rural moms with women who provide emotional support, encouragement, and check-ins. This isn’t a formal counseling or coaching service—it’s simply a way to connect with another woman who understands motherhood and can offer advice, encouragement, and a listening ear.

What Mentors Offer:

-
Monthly check-ins via text, phone, or email
-
A listening ear and judgment-free encouragement
-
Practical wisdom for the early years (or even beyond) of motherhood

Prayer Partners
The Prayer Partners program is a simple and powerful way for moms to receive spiritual support through prayer. Volunteers are matched with a mom to pray for her, her baby, and her family each month.

What Prayer Partners Do:

-
Commit to praying regularly for their matched mom
-
Optionally send Bible verses or messages of hope
-
Keep it simple—no pressure, just faithful prayer
